Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to shock thousands of students of the state. BSNL is going to end the HP Student Plan in the state from September 28. Due to this, student SIM holders will now have to recharge like other consumers, whose direct burden will be on their pocket.
The decision taken by BSNL during the Kovid-19 epidemic has caused a lot of anger among the students. According to the information, BSNL will discontinue its popular plan HP Student Plan running in the state from September 28. Under this plan, thousands of consumers of the state are connected with BSNL and are taking advantage of the telecom company’s cheap services.
At the same time, the closure of this plan will put additional burden on the pockets of thousands of consumers. People connected under HP Student plan will now have to recharge like other consumers, in which they will be able to recharge at the rate of per second and per minute. It should be noted that BSNL had launched a student plan to connect students in the state, due to which thousands of students were connected with BSNL across the state.
Consumers connected under this plan used to get validity of up to six months at Rs 56 earlier. Also there was some difference in the call rate. But now all the consumers connected under this plan will have to loose their pockets like other people.
BSNL will discontinue HP Student Plan from 28 September. Consumers coming under this plan will be merged under the ongoing plan.
